Healthy and strong athletes who operate effectively as a team are built long before game day. Athletes who train at Launch Sport Performance learn commitment, hard work ethic, and how to move effectively and efficiently.
Three TVP teams -- U14, U16, and U18 -- are working with Launch each week to focus training on the fundamentals of athleticism: agility, strength, power, endurance, balance and speed. Launch trains athleticism to augment TVP training in volleyball-specific skills. TVP and Launch use age-appropriate training methods, cues, and motivation sources.
TVP and Launch are concerned about over-training athletes. TVP and Launch believe that athletes need to play multiple sports, learn music or art, and be involved in other clubs, school, social, and spiritual activities to promote athlete longevity and overall wellness.
In addition to TVP, Launch Sport Performance has partnered with many local athletic teams to bring athletes the best off-field training in the DC metro area!
