With their Bronze medal finish in Phoenix at the 2018 Boys Junior National Championships, the TVP 18s capped a memorable season that included a CHRVA Regional Championship and a competitive practice and tournament schedule. With three athletes that have been with TVP since it's beginning in 2014, and two others that have been with TVP three years, the TVP 18s made their impact competing against teams from all of the nation's hotbeds for men's volleyball. Congratulations to Coach Amy, Coach Elliott and the athletes for achieving an outcome that approached the energy and effort put in to their practice!
TVP 17s began this season with a mission to build a competitive team that also served the academic needs of students in the midst of a rigorous academic year. Tournaments in Pennsylvania, Chicago, Maryland, Virginia and Arizona, including a CHRVA Regional Championship, were balanced with AP exams, SATs, and college visits. Kudos to Coaches Mark W., Mark V., and Noelle for taking this team all the way to Phoenix to compete at the 2018 Boys Junior National Championships!
TVP 16 reached the finals of Flight 2 at USA Volleyball's 2018 Boys Junior National Championships in Phoenix, finishing in the middle of the 77 team club division. Their performance caps a season that included several tournament finishes in the championship match, a CHRVA Region Silver medal, and a tournament championship. Five TVP 16 were selected to participate in USA Volleyball's High Performance Program, two earned bids to USAV Beach Nationals in Siesta Keys, FL. Congratulations to Coach Mary and Coach Luis and the team!
TVP 14 became the youngest TVP team to compete at USA Volleyball's Boys Junior National Championships! Their experience competing against teams from the Midwest and West included lots of grit and a promising future for this talented group of young athletes. Congratulations to Coach Greg and Lisa and the boys, and to Coach Bill for leading the team this season.
