Jharred Tulloch began playing volleyball at the age of 2 in Kingston, Jamaica. After graduating high School as a four year varsity volleyball player and 2 year captain he attended Penn State University where he studied Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management with a specialty in Community Service. While at Penn State Jharred was a member of the 2008 men’s volleyball staff that won the EIVA Tournament and NCAA National Championship. He joined the Penn State women’s program as a volunteer and was present during their four year National Championship winning streak. As the head coach of the Penn State Women’s Club Volleyball program Jharred boasted a 211-19 (91.7% winning record) and was nominated for the NCVF Coach of the Year award in the 2011 and 2012 Seasons. Jharred is currently the Head Coach of the Thomas Edison High School program where he has taken them to their first Regional Tournament appearance in more than 10 years.
A the junior club level, Jharred has coached for NOVA Stars U16 girls and Braddock Road Youth Volleyball boys teams.
As a player, Jharred captained the Penn State men’s club volleyball program and was a member of the All-EIVA Central Division First Team as a libero, also earning the conference defensive player of the year, while leading the team in both aces and digs. He currently participates in Open tournaments along the east coast as the captain of his own Adult USAV team, No Scrubs.
Jharred is IMPACT certified. specializes in player development, defensive scheme, and technical ability.
